Mrcools Reviews: Xmen First Class

Posted by Kemem Rider at 12:01 AM

Now I am one of the first people who said from the beginning that this movie Xmen First Class will suck majourly. Since the announcement I've been saying over and over again that this is the worst A comic book Xmen First Class ever made. Suprisngly was not, people are saying that if the best movie of xmen day and I have to disagree with that. It's a good movie about mutants, but not film and xmen comics absolutely nothing, apart from the names of the characters are actually comics. personalitys entirly characters are changed and even no place in the continuity changes.

However, while it bothered me when I heard the movie is real and I mean really bothered me as you can see from my class why they suck xmen first video. But if you ignore all this, you will see a intersesting story here. Ths story Xmen First Class is about a man named Eric and his quest for vengeance as he befreinds another as he called Charles. Obvioulsy the film now has more subplots, but that's the basic plot is interesting and everything. As I said the characters are different in comics entirly Havok example is hinted several times that he is Cyclops father, but as we all know they are brothers according to the comics.

I even found some racial insensitvity in this film despite its very subtle. theres a scen where sebastian sha mutants are talking to say that you can live as slaves because focusus a black character or we can live like kings, as it focuses on a white character. As I said its subtle but it scares me a bit.
Most of the casting decisions for the characters they were trying to potraty were good and Magneto and Xavier steal the show and I thought that Kevin Bacon played the villain with a super great awesome, but how to act in January Jones was absolutely terrible, seemed uninterested in what he was doing all the time and seemed really didn't do much for the movie.

My favorite scene is probably Wolverines cameo though I'm sick to death of Wolverine in the movies, was just a really funny scene and helped bring down my fanboyism. My recomandation see the film, but eliminate all xmen knowledge of his mind or be bothered. It was good, but definitely not the masterpiece everone is saying it is.
